YES, Los Algodones is a small border town with 4000 people. It is a Professional Border Town made up of Professional citizens including over 300 Dentist Offices, Pharmacies, Optical Offices and Vendors. Bus Groups bring senior citizens here for their medical needs daily from the United States.

We are located slightly southwest of Yuma, Arizona in Los Algodones, Mexico.
It is about a 3 1/2 hours drive southwest from Phoenix, Arizona
LOCATION:
Walk or drive across the border - the 1st main street is called "A" Ave. - Go West (right) on "A" Ave.,
Go 1 & 1/2 blocks & it is Between 3rd and 4th Street on the north side of the street.
THE BORDER OPENS AT 6:00 AM & CLOSES AT 10:00 PM
DIRECTIONS
From Phoenix, take Route 10 South, to Route 8 West to Yuma. Go through Yuma, entering into Calif. for about 5 miles. Take Exit 166 (which is the Algodones Road exit) turn south to the Border. There is a huge parking lot on the U.S. side where you can park your car and walk across the border. All you need is a picture id (drivers license) and your birth certificate. After June 2009 you will need a Passport. If you drive across you also will need your vehicle registration.
If you plan to stay at Our Bed & Breakfast, we have secure parking located inside our complex. If you leave you car in the parking lot on the state side of the border you must inform the people at the parking lot that you are leaving your car overnite or your car could be towed. They charge $22/nite for your car to stay there.
Check with your Insurance Co. to see if you are covered to drive in Mexico. Many of you have that added coverage and might not know that you are already covered. There is also an Insurance Co. on the Mexican side of the border. Their prices are very reasonable and they will give you insurance for a day or a week. 3 nights runs approximately $35.00.

Our 3rd Dentist has been practicing in the field of dnetistry for 13 years and also does Root Canals and General Dentistry and Surgery.

The dentist is skilled, and with a day of advance notice he scheduled our first visits, in three days time he accomplished what would have involved weeks or months of costly, inconvenient return visits to my dentist in Az. I estimate the cost of this care in the U.S. to exceed $4000. I saved $3000 in Algondones, Mexico. The total fee was $1200 for 4 crowns that were cast and fitted, 7 fillings were replaced, a root canal was completed and a deep cleaning all in three consecutive daily visits. A word to the wise, I highly recommend TLC Dental, and a visit to Algodones, Mexico...there is plenty of parking within walking distance of the international border and many good reasons to plan on making a trip there….A visitors festival is held in Dec. and March.
